Lithuania KGB website crashes after thousands of hits

A website in Lithuania that publishes lists of KGB spies operating during the country’s Soviet-era crashed on Thursday as thousands of visitors tried to log on.

A top research centre put hundreds of documents online, which included the names of 1,500 KGB staff.
