A sudden storm in Siberia sent people running for cover as gigantic hailstones rained down on the town of Mezhdurechensk.
At least 20 people were injured and over 100 cars damaged.
A sharp temperature drop from 32 degrees Celsius to just 16 is thought to have provoked the dramatic weather.
Locals said the balls of frozen rain were as large as hens’ eggs with some as much as seven centimetres in diameter, big enough to smash the windows of cars.
Mezhdurechensk is in the Kemerovo region of Central Siberia some 3,800 km east of Moscow.
