A bomb has gone off in front of a high school in southern Italy killing two students and injuring several others.
The blast happened in the town of Brindisi on the Adriatic coast.
Officials say at least one of the injured is in a critical condition.
The bomb was thought to have gone off as teenagers were going into class. The device had apparently been left in a bag in front of the school.
Neighbours say the explosion was strong enough to shatter nearby windows.
No-one has admitted responsibility for the blast.
