In the sunny Albanian city of Tirana, Kosovo-born singer Rona Nishliu gets ready for the Eurovision Song Contest – where she will represent Albania in the upcoming competition.

Rona is known back home after making it into the top five of a popular Albanian talent show.

She impressed the jury and the public with her incredible vocal abilities and performance.

The 25-year-old is the first Albanian singer from Kosovo to ever take part in Eurovision.

Kosovo cannot take part in the contest because it is not recognised by all European countries.

The semi-final starts in the Azerbaijan capital of Baku on 22 May with the final taking place on 26 May.
