Two hands; one male, one female. Their fingers are the stars of the mesmerising Belgian dance production Kiss and Cry.
It is a magical miniature ballet where the performers’ fingers entwine and flirt, somehow conjuring up sadness, yearning and joy.
Directed by renowned Belgian filmmaker Jaco van Dormael, the multi-media project is part dance, part theatre and part cinema.
While the fingers dance, a film crew projects the performance onto a large screen so the audience can watch both the show and the making of it.
