German investor optimism climbs

German investor confidence is at its highest level since the middle of 2010 according the latest monthly survey by the ZEW institute.

Germany, which is the biggest economy in Europe, is booming in contrast to some other eurozone countries such as Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

The future is not without risk however since Germany will be affected by any deterioration in those other countries and any problems in the banking sector.
