As the great and good of the film world gather in Hollywood for the Oscars, the Razzie awards give a a shout out to some of the stars whose work hasn’t shined so brightly.

Leading this year’s rogue’s gallery with a record 11 nominations is comic actor Adam Sandler. His cross-dressing comedy, “Jack & Jill” in which he plays the male and female roles leads the pack.

Sandler’s efforts are matched by the normally excellent Al Pacino, whose cameo in “Jack & Jill” earns him a dishonourable mention.

Eight Razzie nominations go to the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” – the first installment in the finale of the vampire romance.

And despite its star-studded cast, New Year’s Eve is tipped to pick-up the “Worst Picture” award when the prizes are handed out on April 1.
