At London Fashion Week, iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood has said her work always flies the flag – in more ways than one.

“What we do is always British, even if we’re inspired by Africa or the North Pole or whatever and so you’ve got these really fantastic clothes,” she said. “Very, very flattering and very lively because they’ve got all this influence from other places but they still look British.”

Other designers on the catwalk were Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and Henry Holland.
