Vatican: no 'plot to kill Pope'

The Vatican has dismissed an Italian newspaper report that the Pope is being targeted by  assassins and would be dead within 12 months.
The front page article in Il Fatto Quotidiano claims a cardinal wrote a secret note to a senior Vatican figure saying he had heard about a plot.
The Vatican’s spokesman called it ‘delirious raving.’
