A 6.3 earthquake hits Peru

Residents on Peru’s central coast are recovering from the aftermath of a six point three earthquake.

No-one was killed when the tremor struck on Monday fifteen kilometres south east of Ica.

More than one hundred people were taken to hospital but none of their injuries are said to be life threatening.
