At least 30 people are reported dead and more than 50 more wounded after explosions hit security sites in Syria’s capital Damascus.

Two suspected car bombs are reported to have detonated.

Syrian state television says initial investigations suggest Al Qaeda was behind the attacks.

Some witnesses says they heard heavy gunfire break out after the blasts.
