A century after Germany slaughtered tens of thousands of Namibians to use in research, 20 of the skulls have been repatriated.

Namibia’s colonial ruler at the time, Germany, was trying to prove the racial superiority of Europeans.

Demonstrators want Germany to return the remaining skulls and pay compensation.
