Former German international Jürgen Klinsmann made his first public appearance as coach of the United States football team on Monday.

The 46-year-old, who has been living in California for the past 13 years, will make his debut on August 10 against Mexico in Philadelphia.

Klinsmann, who won the 1990 World Cup with Germany took over one day after Bob Bradley was sacked, and becomes the first foreign coach to lead the US since Serbia’s Bora Milutinović in 1995.
