Ahmad Khaled Abdel Aziz a day after tens of thousands poured on to the streets, reportedly the biggest demonstration in over three months.

State television announced the decision on Saturday which follows the sacking of the governors of Deera and Homs. The moves did not stop the momentum of the protests.
