The aircraft carrying Ratko Mladic to face genocide charges at the War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague has landed at Rotterdam airport.
The former Bosnian Serb general lost his appeal against extradition earlier in the day and Serbian authorities wasted no time in transferring him to the Netherlands.
Maldic was arrested last week after 16 years on the run.
He is charged with genocide during the 43-month siege of Sarajevo and the massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica during the 1992-95 Bosnian war.
