After the John Galliano debacle, Christian Dior can use all the positive publicity it can get. A new retrospective of the French haute couture house has opened at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.

It features more than 100 gowns, including dresses worn by Marlene Dietrich, Princess Diana and Sophia Loren, displayed alongside paintings, which inspired the haute couture designers.
