Hundreds have marched in Gaza for the funeral procession of three militants killed in Israeli airstrikes.

The Israeli army says it targeted what it calls an “Hamas terrorist squad”, claiming it was planning to kidnap Israelis.

Hamas describes the claim as “silly”, and is threatening reprisals.

In a new flare-up between Gaza and Israel in recent weeks, 15 people have been killed.

Last month Israel carried out a series of raids, killing eight suspected militants and four civilians.

Gaza militants say they are firing rockets into Israel in response to air raids.
