Eight people have been killed after a car ploughed into the crowd at a off-road rally race in southern California.
The accident happened early on Sunday morning, which also injured 12 people.
The crash happened in the Mojave Desert, 150 kilometres east of Los Angeles.

The desert east of LA is a popular area for off-road racing with many pro competitions being held there each year.
