The Philippines are not just a tourist’s paradise. The country has been affected by decades of conflict between government and rebel forces, displacing thousands of people.

Since a ceasefire agreement was signed last year, most have returned; but many did not have that chance, and still rely on humanitarian assistance.

This week Reporter takes you to Mindanao and the Visayas islands in the Philippines.
