Ukrainians are voting today in a run-off presidential election between pro-Russian Viktor Yanukovich and western-leaning Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Polls suggest Yanukovich may win but only just – prompting fears this ballot may fail to restore much needed stability to the country.
Tymoshenko rounded off her campaigning with a mass prayer rally in Kiev on Friday night.
The poster girl of the Orange Revolution that forced Yanukovich from power five years ago has already threatened to brings the masses back to the streets if she disagrees with the result.
Yanukovich wrapped up with a pop concert.
After a campaign that often descended into smears and insults on both sides, he seems confident of regaining the position he was ousted from so ignominiously.
