It’s that time of year when many people around the world take stock of their lives and make lists of things to do or not in the New Year.

In the Russian capital, Moscow, one woman simply wished for life to get better.

“I hope everything will be good in the New Year.”

No resolutions for others in Germany either with some Berliners repeating hopes that their lives will improve in the New Year.

“I expect things to get better because this year didn’t turn out so well in my opinion.”

In London however, many people’s New Year resolutions revolve around having a more healthy lifestyle.

“I’ve been eating a lot of fish and chips and other bad food so my New Year’s resolution is to eat healthier.”

Sentiments shared in the Spanish capital where some are limiting their resolutions.

This woman says she just wants to give up smoking. But this woman isn’t making any this year because she says she never fufills them.

So, if you do set your sights low for next year, you can relax knowing that millions of others are doing exactly the same.
