He is a regular at the Venice Film Festival but this year George Clooney didn’t come alone.

The American actor was joined by his latest love interest, Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis. Their arrival delighted reporters. Israeli director Samuel Maoz meanwhile presented “Lebanon” – a film not recommended for claustrophobics. Set in the 1982 Lebanon war, most of the action is shot from inside a tank.
