As voting continues in the UK, the Conservatives are in the lead, followed by UKIP with the Labour party trailing in third place.
To general dismay amongst the other parties, the facist British National Party has won two seats in the European Parliament.  The new MEPs Andrew Bron and BNP leader Nick Griffin aim to take the UK out of the EU.
So far, the Lib Dems are holding their own.
Projected results are
Conservatives 25.9% (up 1.3%)
UKIP 17% (up 2.2%)
Labour 16.7% (down 8.9%)
Liberal Democrats 13.6% (down 0.8%)
Greens 7.7% (up 2.6%)
BNP 7.5% (up 1.8%)
Final counting is not expected to finish until the small hours.
Voter turnout was as expected very low.
