Troubled reinsurer Swiss Re is getting a new chairman.
He is Walter Kielholz who will go back to Swiss Re from Credit Suisse, Switzerland’s second largest bank, where he is currently chairman. Kielholz is a former chief executive at Swiss Re. He will be replaced at Credit Suisse by Hans-Ulrich Doerig, a banking veteran who is currently vice chairman. Credit Suisse has not been as badly hit by the financial crisis as UBS and Swiss Re, but still posted a record loss for last year.
