While clouds briefly hid them from Israeli planes, , militants in Gaza fired more rockets into Israel this morning.

One Qassam missile hit a home in the southern town of Sderot. The house was empty at the time but one person was injured by shrapnel. It was a different story in Ashdod yesterday when a woman was killed while running from a rocket. One man in Asdod said: “This is an abnormal situation. You can’t live like this. There are rockets everywhere. People here were used to a peaceful life. Now you can’t predict where each rocket will fall. God help us. You really need to pray hard now.” Three people, including one soldier, were killed yesterday by Palestinian rockets. The other, an Israeli Arab, died on a building site in Ashkelon. In Sderot and elsewhere in the region, schools remained closed and residents have been told to remain indoors and on the alert for more rockets.
