Downward price pressure continues on crude oil. At one stage prices dropped to their lowest in 22 months.
That after the International Energy Agency, in its monthly report, slashed its global oil demand growth forecast for next year.
The IEA said this year’s increase in consumption had been the slowest since 1985.
The producers’ cartel OPEC is reportedly going to hold an emergency meeting at the end of this month to discuss further output cuts.
