Was Austria’s Natatsha Kampusch abducted by more than one person? It has been decided to reopen the case. Kampusch is now 20 years old but when she was just ten she was kidnapped and held for eight years before making a dash for freedom.

In an exclusive interview with the German paper Die Presse, Austria’s Justice Minister has said an independent report had pointed out police errors in the investigation which now warranted a second look.

Wolfgang Priklopil committed suicide hours after Kampusch escaped in 2006 from the cell beneath the garage where he had kept her since 1998. The report claims another schoolgirl saw TWO men bundle Kampusch into a white truck the day she disappeared. But police never followed up the lead. During all the time she was held, Kampusch says she never saw another person and cannot remember exactly what happened the day she was taken.
