German and Spanish football fans are gearing up for the Euro 2008 final in the Austrian capital Vienna.
As the kick-off draws nearer, each side is confident it will walk away with the trophy:
“Germany two – Spain zero,” said one German fan, to which a Spanish supporter replied: “Espana dos – zero”
Security is tight throughout the city ahead of the event.
It will be attended by top dignitaries on both sides, including Spanish King Juan Carlos and Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, as well as German President Horst Kohler and Chancellor Angela Merkel.
While some analysts predict a German victory, a win for Spain would end a 44-year old title famine.
