A website purportedly linked to al Qaeda says it will release new pictures of Osama bin Laden to mark the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. There is no independent verification but, just days ago, bin Laden urged Americans to convert to Islam. The director of US National Intelligence, Michael McConnell, said threats against America are rising.

Washington has become particularly wary of Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed terror group based in Lebanon. National intelligence experts fear the group could become powerful enough to attack targets inside America within the next three years, if it sees the US as a threat to itself or its supporters in Tehran.
