Suspected would-be bomber Hamdi Issac is being extradited to Britain from Italy today. Ethiopian-born Issac is accused of trying to blow up a Tube train in London on July 21.
Three other men are already in custody in the UK, accused of attempted bombings on the British capital’s public transport system on the same day.
Issac was seized in Rome a week after the attacks, which killed no one but brought chaos to London. His Italian lawyer argued he would not get a fair trial in Britain but the 27-year-old, also known as Hussain Osman, lost his appeal against extradition.
The July 21 incidents came exactly two weeks after suicide bombers killed 52 people in London.
