Two tourist trains have collided in Austria, killing two people and injuring 34 more, several seriously.
The trains were both on the same line, for reasons yet to be established, and the crash derailed several carriages.
One unconfirmed report said human error is to blame as one of the trains should have been waiting in a siding before continuing on its way.
The accident took place in the mountainous region of Pinzgau near Bramberg station, not far from Salzburg.
The narrow-gauge line is one of the most popular travel choices in a region noted for its tourist attractions. In all 43 passengers were on board. The most seriously injured were airlifted to nearby hospitals by helicopter.
