Sprinting star Usain Bolt has revealed he will play in a special football match to raise money for children’s charity UNICEF.

Bolt, who retired from athletics last year, will line-up alongside the likes of British singer Robbie Williams.

The match will take place on June 10, 2018, at Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, Bolt’s favourite team.

The 31-year-old, who won eight Olympic gold medals, made the announcement on his Twitter account on Tuesday morning.

He teased social media users on Monday by saying he had signed for a football club, without announcing which one.

Football-mad Bolt will play for a Soccer Aid World XI in the match, which takes place ahead of the Football World Cup in Russia.
