Nick Kyrgios is celebrating after beating Ryan Harrison in the Brisbane International final to win his first tour title on home soil and gain a big confidence boost ahead of the Australian Open .

Carrying a niggling knee injury, the 22-year-old made a slow start but managed to save five break points and claim the first set.

The Aussie then full control of the match after Harrison dropped serve at the start of the second with a double fault.

Kyrgios broke the big-serving American again in a sublime second set display to close out the match 6-4, 6-2 and clinch his fourth career title, and first since 2016.
