Taiwan let off hundreds of lanterns to mark the start of the mid-Autumn festival

<p>The people of New Taipei City let off hundreds of lanterns in Taiwan as part of the Sky Lantern Festival.</p> <p>The festival started on the 4th October to mark the end of the Lunar New year.</p> <p>People hand-write wishes onto the lantern before launching them into the sky. Most wishes are about good health for their family.</p> <p>The festival runs on an annual basis and originally was held in 1990.</p>
