A watermelon lamp carving competition kicked off in Pinghu City in China’s eastern Zhejiang Province on Saturday.
Over 1,000 participants, including local residents, corporate staff, students and foreigners sat in the form of Chinese character “Pinghu” to carve self-designed patterns on the surface of watermelons.
