Manchester City have signed Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona for 18 million euros.

The 33-year-old agreed a four-year contract to join City as new manager Pep Guardiola continues his major overhaul of the 2014 Premier League champions.

Bravo, who moved to Barcelona from Real Sociedad in 2014, won back-to-back La Liga titles and the Champions League in 2015 with the Catalans.

The Chile international has become City’s 11th signing of the transfer window and is expected to start ahead of England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who was dropped by Guardiola for the first three games of the season.
