Former Brazilian volleyball player Isabel Barroso Salgado posed with the Olympic torch at Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, ahead of the Games’ official opening ceremony.
Salgado was accompanied by Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes and Rio’s Archbishop Dom Orani Tempesta.
