Satoru Miyazato, the Mayor of Zamami Village, told Postcards: “The charm of Zamami is the white sand, turquoise sea and the corals. “In fact, 62 percent of the corals that we have in Japan can be found here.” And it is not just water sports: as well as enjoying the surrounding nature, wale-watching is also popular outside of the swimming season.
