If you are interested in true facts and are really willing to understand the Catalan know:
Although there is a majority of parties that support the right to decide, some of them are not separatists (ICV, Cup) as some international media are stating. Please see the difference between wishing and allowing the right to vote for or against independence from being a separatist. Many Catalans support this right but they would vote against breaking away from Spain. It seems amazing to watch some media focusing only in what they called wrongly “separatits” and missing the essential points. They wouldn’t do this with Scotland or they own country. Why they do this unprofessional and bias reports…? emotions and other interests could explain it…

ABOUT CUTS IN THE E.U BUDGET-THE LATEST SUMMIT.
It was a summit of set-backs.Britain which was accepted with the European Union
in 1973,known then as the European Econonmic Community, wants its own way.
The Franco-German axis is not as strong as before to press on the U.K to agree
to some European projects-Italy,the Netherands,Spain,Sweden and other European
states all want a say in the cuts.Another early summit should be assembled in Brussels.

NO SANE PERSON IN EUROPE WOULD ACCEPT THE SECESSION OF CATALONIA FROM
SPAIN.
Good Afternoon euronews….................,
No sane European would accept the fragmentation of Spain, nor of the Iberian peninsula.Spain which exists as a one entity since 1492,and which is famous as any other European country, urges
us to reject the secession of Catalonia from the Kingdom of Spain.Spain with its rich history,
culture and unique identity, urges everyone with a common sense to reject secessionism in Europe.
While the European Union is striving towards a stronger political and economical unity, the Catalans
are taking another road towards secession from Madrid. The Marcha Real-the Spanish national
anthem and the yellow-red and yellow horizontals of the Spanish flag with the royal coat of arms in the middle must be the national anthem and national flag of Catalonia. While we reject the secession of Catalonia from Spain,we support Catalonia’s financial and economical independence within Spain.
The Spanish prime minister has to grant concessions, financial and economical concessions to
Barcelona-Catalonia must not bear the brunt of injustices from Madrid, since it is the most richest
autonomous community in the Kingdom of Spain-in terms of economical wealth and most of its
regional revenues go to Madrid.Concessions have to be made.
Europeans are following every item of news in Spain-from recession to the high rate of unemployment to house evictions and soup kitchens, and also illegal immigrants and other ills, but
although their hearts yearn for all those Spanish negatives, they want Spain a united country.
Thank you very much euronews.

Why do distant cousins want so badly to kill each other? The Palestinians and Israelis are cousins, as are all of us living on this planet. If their many times great grandmother were here today she would bang their heads together till they saw some sense!!

Hamas knew what would come if they continued to attack their northern neighbour. Why do they wish so much suffering on Palestinian women and children. No doubt they will be running away before the expected Israeli ground forces arrive leaving the ordinary people of Gaza to take the consequences of their action.

I must agree with Franpinoni in the amount of coverage of US elections and politics in general. I have to say that this is not unique to euronews, but its practically a decease throughout European journalists! The BBC is the same and I’ve noticed that newspapers are not far behind. I’ve no objection to hearing as much as we do from any other country, but journalists seem to think that ‘joe public’ is really interested in the finer details of American politics and I would question this. To quote the American’s own expression -give us a break!

Although I am originally from the USA, I find your coverage of the election results annoying. Certainly, other hings are happening at the moment. It’s fine to have bulletins, but if we need ad nauseum coverage we can go to CNN or one of those other news channels that I haven’t watched since I discovered euronews and your 5 minutes of headlines.
Please put back your regular excellent programing! ASAP! – It’s morning in Europe…

In observing recent news it is clear that china’s aristocracy is proving to be very capable of controlling its populace while at the same time amassing a vast fortune for itself. Dissent is not tolerated, such people being either deported, jailed or eliminated

Let’s concentrate on the good news from Gaza. What a wonderful picture you show of the Egyptian circus in Gaza. The child in your picture could be anybody’s son or grandson. His future will only be secure when his seniors come to peaceful terms with their neighbours. I wish, for all our sakes, that they would try. It is an immutable law that action and reaction are equal and opposite.
