West African troops arrive in Mali

Hundreds of troops from neighbouring Niger arrived in the Malian city of Gao on Thursday to bolster French soldiers based there. Burkina Faso, Benin, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, Niger and Chad are also providing soldiers.
