A crocodile believed to have killed a water buffalo in the southern Philippine province of Agusan del Sur was captured alive from a creek. The male saltwater crocodile, weighing more than a tonne (1075 kilograms) and measuring 21 feet (6.4 metres), could break the Guinness Record for the largest crocodile in captivity, now held by an 18-foot (5.5-metre) crocodile in Cairns.
