Horn of Africa region faces famine risk

Save the Children are appealing for emergency aid as they say more than ten million people are at risk of starvation in Kenya and other East-African countries. The UK charity is calling on donors to fund its operations in the countries most affected by a recent drought, and help them prevent child malnutrition. The charity is supplying aid to Somalia, Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia, and requires around 40 million dollars to meet its commitment .
