Surprising street art in Germany

Residents of Frankfurt were able to observe an unusual spectacle in the streets of the German city yesterday, after street artists went around wrapping bronze statues and lampposts in knitwear. There has been an explosion in the number of such “guerilla knitters” recently, a movement bent on fighting against the sadness of the city.
