Iceland: Grimsvotn eruption abates

It seems that the eruption at Grimsvotn in the Vatnajökull glacier in south-east Iceland is now in its dying stages. The volcano is no longer spewing out ash, officials said on Wednesday and airlines began to get back to normal after cancelling around 1,000 flights in northern Europe.
