A new case of cancer is diagnosed in the EU every 9 seconds, making the disease a personal issue for many Europeans. We met a special choir from Ireland, who have their own way of beating cancer, spreading the message of hope from the top of their lungs.
ADVERTISEMENTThis is no ordinary choir. Most of the 42 women participating are cancer survivors. On World Cancer Day, they came to Brussels from Ireland to send a strong message.
Being the second leading cause of death in the EU, cancer is personal for many people. Including the President of the European Commission.
