The Toulouse shootings suspect Mohamed Merah has refocused fears that there are dozens of so called ‘Lone Wolf’ terrorists in Europe.

Like Anders Brevik in Norway last year, it is suspected Merah may have worked alone, making him extremely difficult for authorities to track and stop.

To get a better idea of the problem and whether France failed to detect the danger, euronews’ Audrey Tilve spoke to Claude Moniquet, a former agent in the French Intelligence services and now Director of the ESISC institute in Brussels. For the full interview, click on the link above.
