Contemporary dance workshop gives escape to inmates at Portuguese prison near Lisbon

At Linho prison, in the western suburbs of Lisbon, inmates participate in a contemporary dance workshop.

Twice a week, the prison's former chapel is transformed into a dance studio under the guidance of artist and teacher Catarina Câmara, trained in psychotherapy. 

The "Corpoemcadeia" program prepares inmates for social reintegration and allows them to take their minds off their problems.
