The municipality of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat is Catalonia’s second city. It has a èpopualtion of more than 250,000 inhabitants, and is governed by the Partit dels Socialistes, (PSC). L’Hospitalet is one municipality that decided not to give permission to use municipal buildings for the referendum.
Former local MP José Vicente Muñoz is leading figure in local and national politics and has lived in Catalonia since the 1960s. He denounces the attitude of both the Catalan Government and the Executive of Mariano Rajoy.
