This team of robots could be the first to be deployed to a disaster scene in Europe.

Equipped with laser scanners, cameras and sensors, they can assess the risks and help rescuers by providing digital maps of the site.

European scientists used them in real-life conditions after the Amatrice earthquake in central Italy – they assisted in the creation of 3D textured models of two damaged churches.
