Taylor Swift and Carly Simon have teamed up to sing a new version of the veteran songstress’ legendary hit ‘You’re So Vain’.
Swift had invited the 70s star to join her in front of 110,000 fans for a duet during her concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Referring to the hit song, singer Taylor Swift said: “That is the most direct way anyone has every addressed a breakup! It’s amazing!”
Carly Simon said the lyrics came naturally: “It’s a song that really sort of developed that style of mine, and a lot of it was not knowing that I was developing that style, because a lot of things happen by accident, don’t you feel?”
It was another stop on Swift’s RED Tour, which continues in the US until 21 September, then heads to Australia and New Zealand later this year.
Miley Cyrus is ‘different’
Miley Cyrus is all grown up and desperate to show how much she has changed. The good girl facade associated with her role as the worldwide phenomenon ‘Hannah Montana’ is definitely a thing of the past.
The American singer, and former Disney star, is currently promoting her new single ‘We Can’t Stop’. It comes with a new grown-up image and a raunchy video that might shock some of her former fans.
